Charotar Leua Patidar Samaj,

Charotar Leua Patidar Samaj, also known as CLiPS, is a non-profit California corporation. It is not organized for the private gain of any person(s). It is organized under the Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation Law for Charitable and public purposes.

The specific purpose of this corporation is to preserve and promote Indian culture, history, and heritage. And to pass on the rich heritage of Leua Patidars from Charotar region in State of Gujarat to younger generation via various community activities.

The specific goals and objectives of the corporation are as follows:

To Develop, establish, and maintain programs and services for all people in general and for Charotar Patidar community in particular.

Explore ways to raise funds for community activities,

Strengthen community bonds and social cohesiveness among Charotar Patidars and all people.
The corporation is organized and operated exclusively for charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
No substantial part of the activities of this corporation shall consist of carrying on propaganda, or otherwise attempting to influence legislation and the corporation shall not participate or intervene in any political campaign including the publishing or distribution of statement(s) on behalf of any candidate for public office.
The power of corporation shall be exercised, its affairs conducted and its assets controlled by the board members.
